Steven R. (Randy) Watt is the owner and founder of SRW, Inc., a Leadership and Training consulting company he incorporated in 2008.  A retired Chief of Police who served with the Ogden, Utah, Police Department for 36 years, Randy is a highly experienced leader and innovator who has helped many organizations become more successful in their industries.  

A regular speaker at various Law Enforcement association events across the U.S. and Canada, Randy is also a key advisor to several private corporations, and specializes in consulting on Strategic Leadership, Strategic Communication, and Organizational Design.  Randy is also a retired Colonel, U.S. Army and Utah Army National Guard, Special Forces Branch, with 34 years Active Duty and National Guard service. Randy has successfully commanded at all levels of Army Special Forces, i.e., ODA, Company, Battalion, and Group, as well as having served in key staff positions.  A decorated combat veteran with multiple rotations to Afghanistan and Iraq, Randy has put key leadership concepts to use in high-stress environments.  

Randy is a published author on the subjects of Leadership and Counter-Terrorism.  He is a Commissioner for the International Academy of Public Safety, as well as a key advisor to the National Tactical Officer’s Association.  Randy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Police Science, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies.  He is a graduate of the F.B.I.
